The SMACNA Detroit Education Committee is comprised of Management representatives who work to plan education for contractors and their administrative staff which assists in day-to-day business activities. In addition, SMACNA Detroit offers training geared towards Supervisors, Foreman and Apprentice members of Local Union 80. Our Association also offers technical education for members of affiliate construction associations such as Metropolitan Mechanical Inspectors Association (MMIA), American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Detroit, American Institute of Architects (AIA) Michigan.
